Cruising Together 2010

Arranging your wedding is one tough task, but if there's anything trickier, it is planning for your honeymoon destination. As taxing as it will be, choosing the perfect honeymoon destination will make your first vacation as man and wife nothing short of wonderful and will surely build memories that will last a lifetime.

Cruising Together
You'll definitely love it when you and the love of your life are cruising together in some of the most romantic cities you can imagine. Take a trip of a lifetime by having your honeymoon in a luxury boat while enjoying the romantic ambience and the elegance of fine dining.

Bon Appétit
There's a saying that "A way to a man's heart is through his stomach..." and if this quote suits you and your loved one, then going on a food trip should definitely be your top choice. Indulge in the specialties of known or even unknown restaurants in your trip. Satisfy your palate every chance you get and though it is possible doing such may get you on the heavier side, what the heck, enjoy your time together and just hit the gym when you finally get home.

Adventure of your life
If you want a honeymoon which is exciting and wherein you may say "guess where we had our honeymoon?" then an adventure trip is just for you. Whether it's just an overnight stay in a mountain cabin, surfing under the afternoon heat or white water rafting, this honeymoon is definitely not the type where you watch the action go by, instead, you're right smack in the middle of the action on an adventure trip.

Out of the Country
"Around the world in 80 days...", if you love that song, then you'll surely love travelling to different countries. You don't have to do it in 80 days, of course. Have the time of your life while learning of the different cultures and traditions of the countries that you're going to. This is one trip that you'll definitely never forget.

Private Villas
Of course, there really is no place like home, and if you're the type who prefers the "feel" of your own home, then plan a honeymoon trip to a private villa. Cuddle, kiss passionately, love endlessly, nothing says privacy and alone time more than your "home away from home."

Perfect up-do… perfectly you!

As little girls, women always fantasized about their dream wedding. It’s the most romantic day of a woman’s life and one of the most important decisions in planning your dream wedding is choosing the perfect hair accessory. Just like finding the perfect guy, a bride should also find the perfect match to your wedding gown. As all eyes are on you on your big day, here are tips in selecting the right wedding hair piece.
TIARA
How would you like to look like a modern-day princess on your wedding day? Then the tiara is the hair piece for you. Tiaras are typically designed with rhinestones and crystals and worn when your hair is in a bun. If you chose a gown that is not heavily beaded or embroidered, a tiara as your head piece will surely provide the right amount of sparkle.
HAIR COMBS
Hair combs are typically used to hold and accent a bun. If you’re the type who wants a simple hairstyle, then a hair comb should do the trick. Combs are usually deemed as a traditional look but if you want to amp up your up-do, then choose a fun or flirty design.
FRESH FLOWERS
If a crafted wedding hair accessory isn’t your style, you may opt to use fresh flowers instead. Choosing flowers, whether a big one or a group of tiny flowers, gives versatility where your hair is concerned. You may tuck a flower behind the ear when you want your hair down or at the base of a ponytail or a bun. Now, how’s that for having a fresh and natural look on your wedding day!
HEADBAND
For a polished, reserved look, a headband will serve the purpose. It can be worn with either the hair down or in a bun. If you’re going to have a formal wedding in a church, soften your look by using a pearl headband in an up-do. For an informal setting such as in a garden, just let your hair down with soft, loose curls and top it with a thin headband.
HAIRPIN
If you have a medium length hair, a hairpin would be a nice accessory for your wedding. Gather your hair at the back of your neck and lock it with a hairpin. Or for a softer look, you may use it to secure your side-swept bangs, tucked behind your ear.

I’M NOT GETTING OLD…JUST GETTING WISER!

It’s a fact that most of us are afraid of getting old. We associate old to being wrinkly and boring. We have a lot of reasons why we are afraid of growing old: some are afraid of being old alone, others senseless. A lot are afraid to lose their beauty and still more afraid of losing the excitement of youth. I, too, fear a lot about getting old. I’m afraid to grow old not accomplishing my dreams, not being able to give my parents and siblings the life that I want them to have in appreciation for the great life they’ve given me, not being able to give my child the best things in life, not being able to give my husband my job of being the best wife. But then, I realized, if I wallow in all my fears, I won’t actually be able to do what I needed to do to realize all my dreams for my loved ones; and especially, for myself. And so, my dear friends let me share some insights about breezing through “growing old.”

First of all, accept that getting old is inevitable. Once we have accepted that, everything else will come easier. I noticed that in this world, there’s always a hustle and bustle to a lot of things. People date because they deem it fashionable or they’re desperate. Some people marry because they’re miserable and some have kids because they think they’re running out of time. It is smarter to take things slow since at times winning is not the end result to some of life’s hasty decisions, only regrets. Don’t sleep around because you think you can afford it and you know better. Don’t be tough and hurt your children because loving them is tougher. Don’t settle for Mr. Right Now and most of all don’t waste your life on definitely Mr. Wrong because your biological clock is ticking.

There are times when you need to be alone to have clarity of mind. To end your lonesomeness, connect with the dispossessed. To feed your fostering nature, tend to the poor. To satisfy your parenting desires, adopt a puppy. To be warm, purchase a coat. Eventually, you’ll discover that it’s much less complicated. To achieve happiness, follow your dreams, be satisfied with what you have and be the best of what God has planned you to be. It will be best to simplify your life. Having lots of friends is good, but having a few, great and trustworthy friends are better. Working to have a good life is good, but don’t overwork yourself to death. Always be true to your word. Don’t keep suitors waiting pointlessly, but don’t commit when you’re still not ready.

Fall in love when you think the feeling is ripe – it’s the most wonderful thing on earth. Don’t be afraid to say “I Love You!” Say it with abandon. Love deeply. Hold hands. Kiss with passion. The relationship may end, but at least you can say to yourself that you gave yourself the chance to love unconditionally. Don’t be afraid to lose love, it comes with the territory. Just remember that after the fall always comes the rise. And eventually, you will meet your Mr. Right who will give you the unconditional love which you deserve.

Life indeed doesn’t get any easier with age. It may get difficult but don’t be afraid. Keep control of your life, be satisfied with what you have, accept that things may be harsh and aging is inevitable. Most of all don’t lose faith in God. By doing even a small percentage of these things, you’ll discover that life isn’t half as bad and you’re happier. By then you can proudly say, “I’m not getting old…just getting wiser!”
